iPhone 13 launch event invite: how to see the AR Easter Egg
Apple has officially announced the next event will be on September 14, where we expect the range of the iPhone 13 to reveal. Not that you know based on the ‘Streaming California’ event tagline – but the Easter eggs tell more.
In short: AR portal shaped apple into a lake edge landscape (side of the bay?), Obviously showing off company interest in augmented applications and mixed reality. If it’s not a clue about what might exhibit Apple on the events of September 14 (and potentially more AR abilities on the iPhone 13), we don’t know what it is.
To view it yourself, go to the Apple event page when on the cellphone (in Safari or Firefox – Sorry, Chrome users) and tap on the picture for the September 14 event. The browser will open your camera with a small Apple Icon Placeholder – tap to place the ‘Portal’ and you can move the phone physically to look around and pass it. Peer through far enough and you will see 9.14, date (in US format) the event. Ta-da!
Yes, it’s for Easter eggs, at least until we spend more time poke in his corners to find more – and if we do it, we will post it here.
