Microsoft is implementing a renewed personalized news service called Start. The power will be baked in the Windows 10 taskbar and the Windows 11 Widgets section. You can also access it through web, iOS and Android applications and the new tab page in Microsoft Edge.

Start is extracted from Microsoft’s artificial intelligence and automatic learning experience (as well as human healing) to create a news source with updated information adapted to your interests. Heal news of more than 1,000 editors from around the world.

The more you use and indicate what you are interested, the more the source is approaching the things you prefer to read. You can inform the application when you see an editor or a story that is not interested, or press the Customize button to refine the power every time you want. Your preferences are linked to your Microsoft account, so the service must offer the same experience on all the platforms in which you have logged in.

Home includes information cards for certain key themes, such as climate, traffic, sports and finance. You can decide which cards you want to obtain information about the information at a glance.

Although MSN is not going anywhere, it will begin to replace Microsoft’s news. The icon and the name of that application will change to begin the mark the next time users update it. Those who visit the Microsoft News website will also be redirected to the home page as well.

The name of the source can cause a bit of confusion for Windows users, given the prominence of the start button on the operating system in the last two decades (that menu is getting a review in Windows 11). Even so, Microsoft Start looks like a polished experience, and it could be a solid way to keep the tabs on the news in which you are interested.
