Segway is moving towards the robot mower market with the ship. What distinguishes this model of many others is that you do not need to install a limit cable. Instead, Navimow uses GPS and other sensors to stay inside the perimeter of your lawn.

The so-called exact fusion location system can maintain the navíse position accurately within two centimeters, according to Segway. If the GPS signal is divided, the company says that the sensor matrix and device data ensures that it still works. You can tell Navimow to cut, define the limits and instruct it to avoid certain parts of your garden through an application. Segway claims, Navimow uses an algorithm to find out a cutting path so you do not have to CRISS-CROSS.

Segway says Navimow works relatively silently at 54 dB. There are offset blades to trim edges and corners, while the cutter gradually cut the grass from above to reach the height you want (between three and six centimeters). The mower can handle 45-degree earrings and has an IPX6 water resistance rating, according to Segway.

There are also security features. Segway says Navimow can detect and derive obstacles, and her blades will stop spinning if pets or children approach too much. If the device detects the rain, it will return to the charging station, but you can deactivate the rain sensor and put Navíreo to work even when wet off. When the battery becomes too low, Navimow will continue cutting from where he left it after it is recharged.

The installation of a perimeter cable can take some time and, as Slashgear notes, it can damage a garden, as it is generally buried under the grass. So Navimow could be a healthier solution for his lawn than other robot mowers. IROBOT planned to do a mower with wireless limit beacons, but put the waiting device last year in the middle of the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Segway is launching four versions of its lawnkfish. The Naviorean H500E is for grass with an area of ​​up to 5,400 square feet. It costs € 1,199 (around $ 1,425). The other three models have larger batteries to back the larger lawns, along with 4G support and a GPS anti-theft system. Prices are filled at € 2,499 (around $ 2,970). However, Segway has not announced the launch of the details yet.
